GYMKHANA
CHAIN OF FAVOURS
We did a video with some second of ESO students. The video consisted of a chain of favours. We explained the activity to the children and we started to record the video. Our goal is to explain to the youth the importance of voting in the European elections. Because sometimes, young people think that they can't achieve anything voting, but we want to show them that a little gesture can change a lot of things. We did a gymkhana with the children of ESO. We did a lot of activities. Each activity allowed each goup a piece of map, and finally the group got all the map of the EU. There are many amusing activities like a relay race, making a castle with cards, the race of the spoon and the egg... We wanted to achieve a goal ! We wanted to teach things to the children while they were having a good time. Because when you want to learn something you learn it and when you are spending a good time you learn faster and the idea is in your mind forever. When we finished with the activity we enjoyed ourselves we took a lot of photos and we recorded some of our activities but the most important thing was that the children were very happy and this is because, maybe these people won't vote in the next EU elections because they're the future, besides, sometimes grown - ups can learn from the children.
